These are the Belt Classes in my school. Your school, even if also Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Kwon, may have different belt levels, colors, order, and requirements. At my school, students generally test every two months until they reach blue belt. Blue belt frequently takes longer to develop the skills required to pass to the next level. Passing into and through the sequence of brown belts also usually takes longer. It isn't unusual to take four years to pass through all the colored belts before passing your black belt tests. Very serious, highly motivated students might complete the full sequence in two years. Very many take much longer and never achieve their black belt.
